Elites Empire Extends Help to Typhoon Victims in Masbate
On September 26, Severe Tropical Storm Opong made landfall in Masbate, unleashing powerful winds and torrential rains that left a trail of destruction across the province. In its aftermath, the local government declared a state of calamity as communities grappled with the devastating impact.
Reports revealed that more than 2,400 houses were destroyed and over 9,000 were partially damaged, affecting 44,536 families — or 157,849 individuals — across the province. Countless residents were displaced, left without food, shelter, and basic necessities.
In response, the Elites Empire community immediately launched a donation drive to bring relief and hope to the people of Masbate. Through the collective efforts of members, partners, and supporters, food packs, hygiene kits, and other essentials were distributed to families in need.
